Invention to Ventue will be held Saturday, October 11 from 8:40 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Alumni Hall, HUB Robeson Center. Presentations will focus on technology entrepreneurship, opportunity assessment, venture capital, marketing, intellectual property, business plans, and related topics.

Researchers say the discovery could lead to innovative methods of controlling the invasive pest, and potentially offer more efficient ways of breaking down plant biomass for generating biofuels.
Penn State researchers will be part of an international team led by the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health to help evaluate new vaccines that will have the best chances of stopping the global outbreaks of infectious diseases. The project has received a $10 million grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
